This submarine, like the Shadow Hawk possessed an armament of 8 torpedo tubes, but in contrast, lacked an appropriate position to mount a mine-layer. With a wide enough base, the submarine dived little if at all during turns.

The result was near perfection in stability. While acceptable in many situations, her tendency to dive severely in turns (a tendency shared by most fast subs), left her vulnerable to her own instability, and required extremely dexterous piloting to remain submerged and yet alive at the same time.Įnter Shadow Wolf: Built as a response to the less than shining maneuverability of the Shadow Hawk, this newer sub utilized the same speed techniques, but attempted to correct the stability issues with a catamaran hull. While the Shadow Hawk possessed beyond adequate speed and acceleration, her handling left something to be desired. She carried a primary armament of 8 torpedo tubes, augmented with a mine-layer (which finished ships off just as often as her torpedo's).
#Warship craft submarine upgrade#
The first ship in my navy to carry the "Shadow" class prefix, the submarine was a massive upgrade to previous designs reaching a staggering 194.7 knot top speed, extremely quick acceleration, and tolerable-ish handling. The Shadow Hawk is the resulting design and production model. All ships built before this are no longer in existence.Īfter months of heavy experimentation, and following a major breakthrough in my submarine speed tweaking, several prototypes were created, testing the stability, acceleration and handling of 194+ knot submarines. Features that were originally on Battleship Craft can be found in the Battleship Craft Wiki. This wiki is meant to document and discuss new features introduced in Warship Craft, including different missions and upgrades. Warship Craft is a nearly exact clone of the mobile game Battleship Craft, which was taken down from the iOS App Store in 2013, and features identical physics and parts. Other warship types that have evolved in-game are so-called super-warships (actually very large battleships with multiple weapons) and hybrids (combinations of 2 or more types like battleship-carriers, submarine-carriers, etc.). Players can design and build many kinds of ships, from aircraft carriers, battleships and cruisers down to destroyers, attack boats and submarines. The truly unique experience of this game, however, is the ability to employ ships in battles against AI-controlled ships or against other people via Online Multiplayer. Players can let their imagination run wild as the game offers an wide variety of parts while challenging the player to consider real-life issues in military vessel-building: mass, stability, and armament.

This innovative ship-construction and naval warfare simulator allows players to build their very own ships, complete with weapons, armor and engines. Warship Craft is a mobile game available exclusively on the iOS operating system.
